Over the last two years, the RIKON Group has served the service innovation needs of 81 clients across a range of commercial, retail, tourism and manufacturing sectors in the South East region and beyond. In terms of these commercial projects, 59 involved new service developments, 8 were related to business model innovation and the reaming 14 projects involved designing, developing and implementing client interfaces. In addition to these projects, The RIKON Group and its associated colleagues have extensive expertise in developing and managing enterprise networks and the South East Fáilte Ireland Tourism Learning Network involving 600+ tourism related SMEs is a flagship of such expertise.
In relation to New Service Product Development, The RIKON Group has provided its 59 clients to date with valuable information and insight about their service product, industry sector, target market and target consumer needs. This in turn, has enabled these enterprises to target their respective business strategies and position and market themselves and their products.
- With reference to business modelling, The RIKON Group has delivered 8 business model interventions that has produced tangible results in terms of increased sales generation, improved operational flows, reduced waste and improved organisational knowledge transfer and product development processes.
- Regarding the 14 customer interface projects which included a range of activities from consumer research, focus groups and web audit and design, The RIKON Group clients have benefitted from increased sales opportunities, gained insight about target consumers and have enhanced customer experiences.
- In terms of The RIKON Group’s Network activity, over 600 small and medium sized tourism based enterprises have been transformed in terms of their business operations and management practices through participating in workshops on all aspects of business operations and through the provision of one-to-one and virtual learning support.
