4th Annual WIT Lean Forum

The 4th Annual WIT Lean Forum will be held in Waterford Institute of Technology on Thursday the 28th of April 2016.

The Annual WIT Lean Forum is a hugely popular event and has grown to become the leading Lean Enterprise & Operational Excellence event in Ireland.

This industry-academia event is a free all-day conference focused on cutting-edge developments in lean management thinking and practice, continuous improvement, and organisational and service excellence. It provides a key knowledge-exchange and networking opportunity for Irish organisations of all sizes that are adopting, or seeking to adopt, lean thinking and practice in order to remain competitive in the global marketplace.

This year’s Lean Forum commences with a Keynote presentation from Professor Peter Hines, Visiting Professor at WIT Business School, and a world-renowned Lean thought leader, academic, practitioner, consultant, award-winning author, and Senior Certified Shingo Facilitator.

Following morning refreshments attendees can enjoy two successive presentations encompassing talks and cases on Lean in Construction; Lean in Healthcare; and Lean in SMEs and Micro organisations. The afternoon schedule provides attendees with a wide range of sessions, 12 in total, delivered by experienced practitioners and subject matter experts on key elements of lean enterprise, operational, and process excellence, as well as service improvement and continuous improvement.
