The South East Marketing Forum (SMF) launches its first event of 2019 with co-host and Main Sponsor Kilkenny Design Centre bringing Omni-Channel and Tourism Marketing professionals to Kilkenny. SMF was established by marketing experts to encourage like-minded people to network and exchange ideas. Following the successful launch in November 2018 which welcomed over 100 business leaders and marketers to Waterford, it became evident that a group such as this was in high demand in the South East region.
The event is particularly relevant to professionals in the tourism, hospitality, retail, food and drink industries. The purpose of the event is to showcase the latest trends in Omni-Channel and Tourism marketing and how it can impact businesses in the South East. Jenny DeSaulles, Head of Ireland’s Ancient East, will briefly outline methods to develop tourism or hospitality businesses through Omni-Channel marketing.
Joe Daly; WIT and event MC says “As marketers we now know that the real value in marketing is to spread our message via different channels. Incorporating the Old and New in Omni-Channel and Tourism Marketing; Jenny DeSaulles will be unmissable especially for those with a keen interest in the growing tourism sector in the South East. We are also very excited to learn about the recent Kilkenny Group and Kilkenny Design Centre merger from CEO Marian O’Gorman.”
With thanks to our sponsors Kilkenny Design Centre and Ballykeefe Distillery, all attendees will enjoy locally produced canapés and drinks reception. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear from the Kilkenny Design Centre and local marketing professionals.
The event takes place on Wednesday 13th of February, 2019 in the Kilkenny Design Centre from 6:00pm. Admission is free of charge but registration is required via www.semf.ie.
